Opening a New Practice

Congratulations!

Opening a new medical or therapeutic practice is a big deal! While it is indeed quite a bit of work, your efforts will not go unrewarded. Helping new entrepreneurs open a business is a lot of fun for me, and I can tailor my services to those that are needed. I specialize in helping Nurse Practitioners because I've been there and done that, but I've also helped therapists start or expand their businesses, and assisted a number of start-up behavioral health agencies large and small with the various tasks involved in opening for business.

Partial list of many of the topics that need to be covered when opening a practice:

1.) Business details - naming your practice, registering your business, legal considerations

2.) Licenses, certifications, and all credentialing needs

3.) Business plans, decisions and tools for financial set-up and management

4.) Technology needs, including all considerations around finding the perfect Electronic Health Record (EHR)

5.) Marketing and Development

6.) HR Needs - managing staff and partners

7.) Creating a professional office environment, and/or Considerations involved in operating Telehealth or Home-based practices

8.) Boundaries; Quality and Compliance

9.) Closing your practice - building with the end in mind

These are all things that I can assist with as needed, along with many more!
